Grief lives in both the mind and the body. Restorative Release is a gentle, healing experience designed to support those navigating loss, whether recent or long-held.
We’ll begin with a heartfelt talk led by a licensed mental health professional, offering insight into the emotional landscape of grief and tools for compassionate self-support. Together, we’ll explore how to honor your loved one’s memory, embrace the continuing bonds you share, and gently accept the shape your life has taken in their absence. Afterward, you’ll be guided through a calming restorative yoga practice that invites the body to soften, the breath to deepen, and space for healing to gently unfold. Kathleen Schwartz will provide reiki services during the slow yoga. Reiki is a form of gentle, hands-on (or hands-above) energy work that aim to promote relaxation, emotional balance, and the body's natural healing processes by clearing energetic blockages and restoring flow.
This event is open to anyone experiencing grief — no yoga experience necessary. Whether you’re mourning a loved one, a relationship, a season of life, or a version of yourself, you are welcome here.
