Creative Writing Circle

  • Inner Purpose LLC 900 Haddon Avenue Suite 212 Collingswood, NJ, 08108 United States (map)

For those who crave connection but feel drained by loud spaces, this 4-week group offers a quieter way to be seen, heard, and understood — through reflection, writing, and conversation. Writing becomes less about performance and more about giving yourself a place to pause, play, create, or simply think.

This therapist-facilitated circle blends thoughtfully crafted prompts, quiet writing time, and optional discussion in a pressure-free, supportive space designed especially with introverts in mind. Prompts explore themes of memory, narrative, imagination, and the evolving “pieces” of who we are, while still leaving space for creativity and interpretation.

You’re invited to set your own intention each week — whether that’s engaging in gentle creative play, slowing down and resting in a low-stimulus environment, reflecting on your experiences, or nurturing a more grounded relationship with yourself.

Write in whatever form feels most natural — fiction or nonfiction, poetry or prose, imagined or real. There’s no pressure to share personal details, and no prior writing experience is needed. This space welcomes hobbyists, journalers, beginners, poets, and anyone curious about storytelling, with the focus on presence, curiosity, and quiet connection rather than perfection.

Dates: 4/9, 4/23, 5/7, 5/21 - 6:30pm - 8pm
