Mental Health Counseling, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine

Baraka Osborne brings a warm, grounded, and collaborative approach to the therapeutic space. While understanding the layers and vulnerability that may surround therapy, Baraka believes in creating a safe, inclusive, and open environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

Baraka’s clinical style is versatile, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). He tailors his approach to meet the unique needs, identities, and goals of each individual, supporting clients through life transitions, anxiety, identity development, self-esteem issues, and relational challenges.

With a strong belief in holistic care, Baraka is committed to honoring the whole person—including emotional, physical, and environmental well-being. He views therapy as a partnership rooted in trust, authenticity, and empathy.

Baraka is a graduate student at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English from Allegheny College. In addition to his clinical training, he is passionate about music, travel, and spending time outside with friends and family.
